Origin of PLURISENSORIEL in Flaine.
The resort of Flaine is renowned for its ski area. Victor GRILLO in the 2000s was skiing there. The context led him to think that he could create a link between the Cultural Center of Flaine and the School of Arts in which he was a teacher: the National School of Arts of Paris Cergy. He had to convince. This process was made possible thanks to the attention and interest of the then director, Patrick RAYNAUD, of the current director René DENIZOT, and of Gilbert COQUARD director of the Cultural Center of Flaine. With Jean-Michel BRINON architect and professor at the ENSAPC, they continue this form of pedagogy of ART within the framework of ARC Architectures (Creation Research Workshop).
Recipe :
Accept a dozen motivated students, discuss their projects with them, be in contact with Gilbert COQUARD, for the conditions for carrying out these artistic works. Fill 2 cars with ten students with their draft projects, take some equipment bought in Paris (funded by the director of the Center), heading to Haute Savoie. Be welcomed and accommodated (with the greatest kindness) by the director who, moreover, accompanies and helps each student in the realization of his own project. Finalize the design, "build" and install the works inside and outside the Center. Present them to the public at the end of the 8-day workshop during the opening. Let the PLURISENSORIEL exhibition at the Center Culturel de Flaine take place over a month and a half to two months.
